Refresh Your Nest Friday #21

It's Friday, another reason to party like it's 1999 over here! {okay, party like it's 2012. which isn't nearly as fun as partying like it's 1999}.

In case you missed it, here's a look back at the week on Making Lemonade:

A big huge virtual hug to my friend Ginger for naming me as one of her blog-mances.  Right back at ya, G!
Alrighty, it's the weekend so let's get it kicked into high gear.  Here's this week's Fab Five Features, with more being featured on the Making Lemonade Facebook Page as I speak.  Errrr, type.  There's a lot of fabulousness being featured over there so I hope you'll check it out!
Fab Five Features

Casa de Luna shows you how to make an Infinity Scarf, which would personally save me a ton of money.  From September thru April you will always see me in a scarf, unless I'm in the gym.  Possibly I'd wear one to the gym too if it were in any way socially acceptable.

Valentine Fortune Cookies from Making it Feel Like Home.  YES, I know they are too cute for words so I'll shut up right about now.

For my mom, because she loves buttons.  City Girl Gone Coastal just charmed me beyond belief.

Laughter and Grace installed faux wainscoting and it's looking divine!  Check out her blog for the step-by-step and the 'before' photo, of course.

Yet another fashion post in today's Fab Five, but how could I resist--Abbie from Five Days, 5 Ways put together an entire outfit that cost just $14 from Goodwill!  A girl after my own heart.  And if I were 30 20 pounds lighter I might steal that sweater from her.  And the trench, too, for good measure.

Wishing everyone a lovely weekend, and may spring come sooner than later!  I'm getting antsy for some flowers and warm weather.  ;-)

Special thanks to those who took comment verification off your posts.  Made it so much easier to leave comments last week!
Mwah, love you!

Here we go for this week, with the typical guidelines:

1. Link to the specific post, not just your blog's home page.

2.  An active linky is a happy linky.  PLEASE visit one or more links that interest you so that everyone gets some comments and traffic.  There's nothing more discouraging than taking time to link up and no one visits.

3. Including a link back to this party at the end of your post allows others to play along or scout out inspiration for themselves.  You would be even more amazing if you posted the Refresh My Nest button-- I've even made it super easy, just grab the code below the button and paste it in the HTML section of your post.

Making Lemonade

Wait, before you go-- piggy backing off of Ginger's post, who are your blog crushes or blog-mances? Which blogs make your heart go "pitter patter?"  It's the week of love, after all; let's share our crushes!

  5. Hi Carrie, Thank you for featuring my scarf. I too constantly wear scarves. Sometimes I even fall asleep with a scarf on. Thanks for hosting the party and I hope you have a great weekend!
