My husband was traveling this week, so once again I'm coming in at the last minute to get this written! It's not optimal, but I'm glad he's finally back and here's hoping we can finally start soaking in this oh-so-special time.
Noodle is just so amazed by it all; she literally gasps at Christmas lights, tells me "Merry Christmas" as I tuck her in every night, and screams "look, SANTA!" everytime she see's him-- anywhere, even on television.
I thought Christmas was great before kids. Little did I know how amazing the magic could be, seeing it through their eyes!
Your blogs are all wonderful. Due to lack of time, I didn't get to comment on them all this week but please know I visited every link. And I commented in my head, I promise, but by about the 5th word verification I knew I couldn't comment and get this post done at the same time. {thanks in advance for being so understanding!}
Here's the Fab Five Features this week:
See this fancy ornament? Hardly Housewives shows how she made it from an old CD. Now that's how you upcycle!
Apparently my head has been in the sand this season, I had no idea these ruffled tree skirts were so popular. Probably it's because they are awesome. JP and Jamie made this no-sew version:
and oh-my-gosh the ruffles on this one from Simply Chic Treasures are divine:
Freaking Crafts made these faux mercury glass trees for $1 each. Yeah, I KNOW! Love that idea.
Holly Jolly Cupcakes from The Seven Year Cottage. Need I say more?
Ya'll know I love vintage, especially when done in a modern way. These vintage inspired ornaments from Ugly Duckling Transformations are beautifully simple and classic.
And now, without further ado, let's get this party started!
The Ground Rules
1. Link to the specific post, not just your blog's home page.
2. It's not required, but always appreciated if you link back to this party-- and extra bonus points for including the RYN button!
3. An active linky is a happy linky. PLEASE visit one or more links that interest you so that everyone gets some comments and traffic. There's nothing more discouraging than taking time to link up and no one visits.
Got it? Great, let's get LINKING!
