First order of business-- the winner of the Chesapeake Ribbon giveaway was #44, Barb from Turtles and Tails. Congrats! Barb says she'd like a turtle-themed ribbon dog collar, and from the name of her blog I'm going to say that's legit. ;-)
Next up: the fab five features.
This one is purely selfish on my part because I have these IKEA curtains and am now inspired to make them better-- Ugly Duckling Transformations shows us how.
It's nice to know people still take the time to make adorable ornaments like this one from Folk Haven. LOVE it.
If only I'd peeked at some of these links before doing my advent calendar round-up earlier this week, I'd have included some great ideas from you all. Here's one from Love of Family and Home that features my favorite color. Because, it's obvious, this week it's all about ME.
My kids have been happy little cookie bakers this week, and Mom on Timeout is about to save me some serious sprinkle money by showing how to make your own colored sugar.
View Along the Way may be my new favorite blog, because her tutorial on how to beef up a wimpy cheap garland made me laugh. Out loud. Scaring the sleeping husband. Ooops.
You know what? It's almost midnight here, so I'm going to skip the link party instructions. If you've never participated in this party or want a button, you can visit last week's for the low-down. See, I'm so tired I almost typed down-low. That would have been the wrong type of party. Gah, someone give me some caffeine. ;-)
And hey, before you link up, don't forget to enter my $75 Peet's Coffee giveaway OR all you crafty peeps might want to win one of two Elmer's prize packs up for grabs. But come back after entering, I want to see your amazing creative projects this week!

Thank you for hosting each week!
ReplyDeleteWoohoo! Thank you SO MUCH for the feature! I added your pretty little button to my featured page, and I'm still giggling over your comment on my post last night. I'd send you some magnolia leaf, but I think it's a federal offense to use the post office to ship stolen goods.
